Fjords!

I have been on the lookout for riding opportunities outside of lesson time. I love my lessons, but I can only afford once a week right now (saving for a house!) and I want more saddle time. I KNEW there must be people out there who didn't have enough time to work with their horses, I just had to find them!

I did, finally. And they are Fjords! I've never ridden a Fjord, so my curiosity is piqued for sure. I meet everyone this weekend! The woman sounds very nice and said she would be happy if I was there 7 days a week. As nice as that sounds, I am a little worried her expectations might be too high. If I could take that much time I would own my own horse! I'm sure we'll work it out when we meet. She is already offering me showing opportunities! Pretty crazy.

Hi! I read your post on Mugwump, and just had to look up when you wrote about Fjords as I live in Norway.
You have a very nice mixture of horses, dogs, cats and food in your blog, I will be following :-)
Good luck with the Fjords, hope you’ll post about what happens…

HoC - I've been trying to post on your blog but the word verification just keeps saying "Loading..." and nothing ever happens! I've tried using firefox and explorer, any ideas?

Oh, I did leave a comment on your Norwegian blog though.

Hi equus, and thanks for the comment!
The "loading"-trouble happened to me once too when I was to post an answer, don't know why. I just restarted explorer and then it was OK.
Sorry about the Canada mix-up. I should have seen it on your profile.
And checking the Horse 1.0 out before buying sounds smart, and definetely cheaper, lol!
Listen, another thing - your food pictures and descriptions looks so good. Would you mind throwing in a kind of recepie/closer description? I would love to try as you have some different combinations than my "normal" choices, and it's so nice to have some changes.
Looking forward to hear about the Fjords!
Maria

Thanks for the compliments on the food. I can certainly give more detailed descriptions in the future. If there is anything you'd like to ask about, feel free!

I will keep trying to comment on your blog! Your ride yesterday (or the day before?) looked wonderful!

Thanks! It was yesterday. Today it was grey and snowing again, so we worked on some dressage instead. I am afraid we won't be rid of the snow until May ...
So how did the try out go? Have you been there yet?

Sorry, didn't see your new post until now!
